  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for even cooking.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Use panko or seasoned breadcrumbs for a different texture.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional, for added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Optional, for added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Use smoked paprika for a different taste.
  • 1 to taste Salt Adjust according to your preference.
  • 1 to taste Pepper Adjust according to your preference.
  • 1 piece egg Beaten, for coating the chicken.
  • 1 spray Cooking spray To prevent sticking in the air fryer.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat the egg in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray.
Cooking
  1. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  2. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store any leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes for best results.
