  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon Use more for extra flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, honey or maple syrup, baking powder, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  3. Stir until well combined.
  4. If desired, fold in chocolate chips, berries, or nuts.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with fresh fruit, yogurt, or more maple syrup. For creamier oats, use whole milk or coconut milk. Adjust sweetness and add your favorite fruits or nuts. Broil for a crispy top if desired.
