  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli (9 oz)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  3. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  4. Pour half of the remaining marinara sauce over the ravioli.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
  6. Add the remaining ravioli, the rest of the marinara sauce, and top with the remaining cheeses.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on top.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until heated through. Consider adding cooked vegetables or using different cheeses for variations.
