Chicken Ingredients
  • 4 large large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt & pepper
Cheese and Sauce
  • 1.5 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sear the chicken in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Baking
  1. In a baking dish, spread the marinara sauce.
  2. Place the seared chicken breasts on top of the sauce.
  3. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken, then add shredded mozzarella.
  4. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbling and golden.

Notes

Serve hot with a side of pasta, salad, or steamed vegetables. For best flavor and texture, use freshly grated cheese. You can add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
