Ingredients
  

For the chicken poppers
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • to taste Oil for frying
For serving
  • Chili sauce or peanut dip For dipping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the diced chicken, peanut butter, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, and ginger powder until well combined.
  2. Fold in the shredded cheese.
  3. Form the mixture into small bite-sized balls or poppers.
  4. Roll each popper in breadcrumbs to coat.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the poppers until crispy and golden brown on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with chili sauce or peanut dip.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for a few minutes until heated through.
