Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked penne, Alfredo sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in half of the mozzarella cheese and a quarter of the Parmesan cheese.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
Notes
To store leftovers, let the casserole cool completely. Place it in an airtight container and refrigerate. It will last for about 3-4 days in the fridge. You can reheat it in the oven or microwave when ready to enjoy. Consider adding steamed broccoli or spinach for extra flavor.
