Ingredients

Chicken Fingers
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • Oil for frying as needed
Dipping Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Method

Preparation
  1. In one bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a second bowl, whisk the eggs.
  3. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Dipping Sauce
  1. For the dipping sauce, combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken fingers hot with the dipping sauce.

Notes

Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying the chicken to get a nice crispy coating. Don’t overcrowd the pan while frying. Fry in batches to ensure they cook evenly. For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate in your favorite seasonings for a few hours before cooking.
