Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz pasta (any shape)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or parmesan)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream.
  5. Add shredded cheese, and stir until melted and combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the pasta cool completely and place it in an airtight container. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove over medium heat, adding a splash of water or milk to keep it creamy. Use whole grain or high-protein pasta for an extra boost of nutrition. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms for added flavor and nutrients. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
