Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Cheddar and Mexican blend are great options.
  • 12 pieces taco shells
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro Optional topping.
For Serving
  • Sour cream For serving.
  • Salsa For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and onions.
  3. Fill each taco shell with the chicken mixture and top with shredded cheese.
  4. Arrange the filled taco shells on a baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the shells are crispy.
  2. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with sour cream and salsa.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes to keep shells crispy.
