Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces Chicken breast Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch For coating the chicken
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil For frying
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Use gluten-free if necessary
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds For garnish
For the Fried Rice
  • 2 cups Rice Cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 cup Vegetables (e.g., peas, carrots, bell pepper, chopped)
  • 2 pieces Green onions, chopped For garnish
  • 2 pieces Eggs For scrambling into the rice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Toss in cornstarch until coated.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and crispy. Remove from the pan.
  2. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, then add soy sauce and honey, mixing to create a glaze. Return the chicken to the pan and toss until well coated.
Making the Fried Rice
  1. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil, scramble the eggs, then add cooked rice, vegetables, and soy sauce. Stir until combined and heated through.
Serving
  1. Serve crispy sesame chicken over fried rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

Make sure to cut the chicken into even pieces for uniform cooking. Allow the chicken to rest after frying for extra crispiness. Use any preferred vegetables for fried rice.
