  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Boneless and skinless recommended for a leaner option.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix For extra flavor, garlic powder or onion powder can be added.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, and chicken broth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  2. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it into the gravy.
Serving
  1. Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes, optionally with steamed vegetables.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for longer storage. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and reheat on the stove or in the microwave. For thicker gravy, add cornstarch mixed with cold water in the last hour of cooking.
