  • 1/2 cup honey mustard
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place them in a slow cooker.
  2. Pour the honey mustard over the chicken, coating it well.
  3. Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the top of the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top and cover again until melted.
Serving

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in honey mustard for a few hours before cooking. Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the slow cooker for added nutrition and flavor.
