  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons Mixed herbs Such as thyme, rosemary, and parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For sautéing
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For sautéing
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup For sweetness
  • 1 cup Chicken broth

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and mixed herbs, and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes each side.
  6. Add honey or maple syrup and chicken broth, then transfer the skillet to the oven.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Serving
  1. Serve Garlic Herb Chicken hot, right out of the oven, alongside creamy mashed potatoes.
  2. Drizzle the pan sauce over the chicken and potatoes for extra flavor.

Notes

Store leftover Garlic Herb Chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Fresh garlic gives the best flavor; feel free to adjust herbs to your preference and add heat with red pepper flakes if desired.
