Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
Protein & Toppings
  • 1 cup grilled chicken breast, sliced Use freshly grilled or rotisserie chicken.
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 4 strips crispy bacon, chopped Optional for a lighter version.
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled Feel free to substitute with other cheeses.
Dressing
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinaigrette Can be replaced with other dressings like ranch or balsamic vinaigrette.
Seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large salad bowl, layer the chopped romaine lettuce.
  2. Top with grilled chicken, diced avocado, chopped bacon, hard-boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, and blue cheese.
  3. Drizzle with red wine vinaigrette.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Toss gently and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve the salad cold or at room temperature. It's best enjoyed fresh, but can also be made ahead. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; keep dressing separate for freshness.
