Ingredients
  

Chicken Marinade
  • 2 pieces boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup sweet corn
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped
  • as needed Rice or bread for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Marinate the chicken in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  2. Remove the chicken from the skillet and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add sweet corn and cook for a couple of minutes.
  4. Return the sliced chicken to the skillet, mix well with corn, and sprinkle cheese on top.
  5. Cover the skillet and let the cheese melt.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot over rice or on bread.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight. Adjust spice level by adding more or less gochujang. Adding vegetables can enhance the dish.
