  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Stir in garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes; cook for another minute.
  4. Add soy sauce and brown sugar; mix well and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat before serving. Consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for extra nutrients and color. You can use ground turkey or chicken as alternative meats.
