Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef to reduce grease.
  • 1 cup cooked rice Any type of cooked rice will work.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.
  • 1 can (10 oz) nacho cheese sauce Can substitute with homemade cheese sauce.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • lettuce
  • tomatoes
  • sour cream
  • hot sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water according to package instructions. Stir in the cooked rice and mix well.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet until pliable.
Assembly
  1. Spread some nacho cheese sauce on each tortilla.
  2. Place a portion of the beef and rice mixture on each tortilla, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and any desired toppings.
  3. Roll up each burrito tightly.
Cooking
  1. If desired, grill the burritos on a skillet until the outside is golden and crisp.

Notes

Serve hot with extra nacho cheese sauce or hot sauce for dipping. Wrap leftovers in plastic wrap or foil and store in an airtight container; consume within 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 2 months.
