Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For searing
  • ½ cup Shredded mozzarella cheese Optional
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup Ranch dressing
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp Red pepper flakes Optional
  • ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped) For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Topping Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, ranch dressing, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using) for the creamy topping.
  2. In another bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and additional grated Parmesan cheese for the crunchy layer.
Baking
  1. Place the seared chicken breasts on a baking sheet and spread the Parmesan topping evenly over each piece.
  2. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture on top and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Ensure the chicken is completely thawed if using frozen breasts for even cooking. Don't skip the searing step; it locks in flavor and moisture. Feel free to adjust the spices in the topping to suit your taste.
