  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs.
  4. Stir in the biscuit mix until well combined.
Baking
  1. In a greased baking dish, spread the cooked beef mixture evenly.
  2. Pour the milk mixture over the beef, then top with shredded cheese.
  3. Pour any remaining biscuit mixture over the top.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cooked through.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with optional toppings if desired.

Notes

Feel free to use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option. Add your favorite veggies, like bell peppers or mushrooms, for extra flavor and nutrition. Use different types of cheese, such as mozzarella or pepper jack, for a twist on flavor.
