Marinating
- In a bowl, mix together pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best results.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the wings on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until crispy.
- Brush with additional marinade during the last 5 minutes for extra glaze.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
Notes
Marinating the wings overnight gives them a deeper flavor. For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for a few minutes after baking. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar according to your taste.
