Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Main Ingredients
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • Green onions to taste for garnish optional

Method

Marinating
  1. In a bowl, mix together pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best results.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange the wings on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until crispy.
  3. Brush with additional marinade during the last 5 minutes for extra glaze.
  4. Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

Marinating the wings overnight gives them a deeper flavor. For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for a few minutes after baking. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar according to your taste.
