Preparation
- Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.

- Pour the beef broth over the roast and vegetables.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the meat is tender.
- Remove the meat and vegetables from the slow cooker and serve warm.
Notes
You can slice or shred the meat and serve it with cooked vegetables on the side. Add crusty bread to soak up the broth. Pairs well with salad or steamed greens.
