  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Use your favorite type
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
Spices
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, chicken broth, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it back into the sauce.

Notes

You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. Freeze in a freezer bag for 2-3 months. Thaw overnight and reheat before serving.
