Preparation
- Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and add to the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Once done, shred the chicken in the sauce and serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for a few hours before cooking. You can add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli to the slow cooker for a complete meal. If you like a spicy kick, consider adding red pepper flakes.
