  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Ensure they are of even thickness for proper cooking.
  • 1/2 cup butter Melt over medium heat.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Adjust to taste.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference.
  • as needed Chopped parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Lower the heat and add the heavy cream to the skillet, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat in the creamy sauce.
  7. Simmer for a few minutes until everything is heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
