Cooking the Beef Mixture
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
- Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place cheese on top of the beef mixture and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
Preparing the Sandwich
- Butter one side of each slice of bread and place them butter-side down in a separate skillet or on a griddle.
- Load the beef and cheese mixture onto one slice of bread and top with another slice, butter-side up.
- Toast until golden brown and flip to toast the other side.
- Remove from heat, slice, and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave. Don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking the beef for even browning.
