Main Ingredients
  • 3 cups Shredded chicken Use rotisserie chicken for faster preparation.
  • 1 bag Crispy tortilla chips
  • 2 cups Spicy salsa Adjust spice level to preference.
  • 2 cups Melted cheese Cheddar or a cheese blend works well.
  • 1 cup Sour cream For serving.
  • 1/2 cup Jalapeños For serving, adjust to taste.
  • 1 medium Avocado For serving, slice or dice.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken and spicy salsa.
Assembly
  1. Layer half of the crispy tortilla chips in a baking dish.
  2. Spread the chicken mixture over the chips, then top with melted cheese.
  3. Add another layer of tortilla chips and cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
Serving
  1. Serve with sour cream, jalapeños, and avocado as desired.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat at 350°F until warmed through. You can also microwave individual portions.
