Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated carrots, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small tots.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place the carrot tots in a single layer in the air fryer.
- Spray the tops lightly with olive oil.
Cooking
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm and fresh out of the fryer. They can be served with dipping sauces like ranch dressing, ketchup, or spicy aioli for added flavor. To store, place cooled tots in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
