Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 large onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 0.5 pound ground chicken
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
For the pastry
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed Ensure it is fully thawed for best results.
  • 1 egg beaten For brushing the tops.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in curry powder and ground chicken, cooking until chicken is browned.
  4. Add soy sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into squares.
  6. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square.
  7. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  8. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve with a dipping sauce like sweet chili sauce or yogurt sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
