  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping, optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Optionally, spread ketchup on top of the meatloaf for added flavor.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until cooked through and the temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, or your favorite salad. For extra flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months.
