  • 1 medium onion, sliced

  • 4 pieces hoagie rolls fresh rolls recommended
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for sautéing

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and add the sliced onions. Sauté until they are soft and translucent.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Slice the hoagie rolls open and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Fill each roll with the beef and onion mixture, then top with slices of provolone cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
