Ingredients
  

Chicken and Coating
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
Orange Sauce
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar
  • 2 tbsp sriracha (or to taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, and salt. Dip chicken pieces in the egg, then coat with the flour mixture.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a separate saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, garlic, and ginger. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
Combining and Serving
  1. Toss fried chicken with the orange glaze until well coated.
  2. Serve hot with rice and veggies.

Notes

Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying the chicken for crispiness. Adjust sriracha to taste if desired. For extra flavor, marinate chicken in soy sauce and ginger for 30 minutes before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for 1 month.
