  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • as needed Fresh parsley, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a large ovenproof skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  6. Add thyme, rosemary, and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
