  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Fresh bunch basil for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, add the sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  2. Reduce heat to low and return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine.
Serving
  1. Serve garnished with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the chicken to keep it juicy and tender. You can switch up this recipe by using shrimp or salmon instead of chicken. Additionally, adding veggies like spinach or bell peppers can enhance the dish's color and nutrition.
