  • 1 pre-made pie crust Pre-made for convenience

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
Batter Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Spread the ground beef mixture into a pie crust, then pour the batter over the top.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the pie is set.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving with ketchup and mustard.

Notes

You can add other toppings like diced tomatoes, pickles, or even bacon for extra flavor. If you prefer a spicier kick, consider adding diced jalapeños to the beef mixture. Make sure to drain the excess fat from the beef to keep the pie from becoming greasy. For a healthier version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef and use whole wheat flour.
